Vic 17 Posted February 15, 2012 Susanna Thompson, best-known to Star Trek: Voyager fans for her role as the Borg Queen, and to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fans as Lenara Khan (Rejoined) has been signed for a role on The CW’s Arrow pilot. Thompson will play Moira Queen, the mother of Oliver Queen, a wealthy playboy who is also the vigilante superhero Green Arrow. Arrow is a “modern retelling of the story of DC Comics character Green Arrow…the vigilante superhero who fights crime using archery, martial arts and technology under his secret identity as Oliver Queen, a wealthy playboy and billionaire industrialist-turned-outspoken politician in Star City.” In Arrow, Oliver Queen has returned to Star City after spending five years shipwrecked on an island in the South China Sea. Thompson’s character Moira has “remarried during the disappearance of her son and husband, and has control of the family’s billions.
