The first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation on Blu-ray will be released on July 24th. According to TVShowsOnDVD.com, online seller DVDEmpire is showing a discount price of $79.99, discounted off of the suggested list price of $118.00. Star Trek: The Next Generation: Season One will feature the episodes plus special features, including: Episode promos, Introduction to the series, Energized! Although they have sweetened the deal with some intriguing sounding special features, to get it from DVDEmpire for $80 is still too much for us to consider double dipping.
