A new series of posters featuring Star Trek and Klingon ships can be ordered from Bye Bye Robots.

Two impressionist-style posters, the first in a new series of four Trek posters, have been created by painter and illustrator Jeff Foster.

Expoloration-2012-Online-pic-41-150x150.jpgThe first poster, Exploration, is “a striking rendition of the Starship Enterprise set against a colorfully painted background.”

A poster sure to please fans of the Klingons is Hunting for Prey, whichHunting-Prey-2012-Online-pic1-150x150.jpg “featur[es] three foreboding Klingon Birds-of-Prey against a vividly red, nebula bursting, star field.”

First launched at Comicpalooza in Houston in May, the posters were well-received by Trek fans.

“We are thrilled with the popularity of the new series,” said Charity Wood, Co-Founder of Bye Bye Robot. “Jeff’s work brings another dimension to the realm of Sci-Fi & Star Trek artwork. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for the rest of his series”

The posters, each measuring 18″x23.25″ and on 100lb acid-free paper, will sell for $25.00 each and can be ordered here. They will also be available at the Official Star Trek Convention to be held next month in Las Vegas.

The photo at the top of the article features J.G. Hertzler (Martok) holding a Hunting for Prey poster. Click on the thumbnails of the two posters to see larger-sized photos.
